A Snow Day

Thursday afternoon/evening we received about 3-4 inches of snow. Abi & Carson were so excited! Daddy got to stay home with us and play in the snow on Friday. We went and bought a new purple sled (Abi's favorite color). I don't know how many times during lunch we had to settle them back down so everyone would eat before the fun started. We finally made it outside and played around the house for a little while and then headed to town for some real sledding. Daddy took us to probably the one hill here in the flatlands and o boy that was fun. I got some great pictures, which I am really happy about. I've posted a few of them. After sledding we had little ones with frozen toes and fingers, but they didn't complain one time. We came home for some hot cocoa and then a little rest. What a great day. We sure wish Daddy was still at home with us, instead of back at work, but the bills around here won't pay themselves.
